Hey guys ('n gals, if any yet); here's a little something I did with Roger. It's "Ol' 55" by the Eagles. Picture us sitting all together, sipping a beer, chatting - and Roger and me doing that one for you Sit back, relax and enjoy it at www.soundclick.com/bands/7/efkaymusic.htmFrank P.S.: Hey Mike, feel free to ad it to our PS5UG-Collaboration-Band at soundclick, if you like...

Very nice! The singing and playing compliment each other very well. I'll toss it up on the collab page as soon as I can get around to it.

hey frank, shameless promotion . . . received this review i thought you might be interested in . . .
"A thoughful interpretation last addressed by the Eagles . . . . Holz's smokey vocals meander with Efkay's classy musical arrangement into the ethereal . . ."
Meander and ethereal, sounds interesting . . .
Thought you'd be interested . . .

yea but sara mclachlan (sp butchered) is the last one who "addressed" it that ive heard. god i should abeen a music reviewer .. or a weatherman!
between this and the ny cover the guys just did you guys are starting to do em better than the originals.
hey rog that super red strat looks like my first strat that was japanese made, which i got from trading in a FINE ibanez gtr which i should have kept.. oh anyhow .. i look at that picture and i say to myself, no wonder his employer keeps him so busy.

rog, do you get those kind of reviews on soundclick? thats cool.
just out of curiosity id be interested in hearing your recording setup frank if you ever get a chance (that you used on this song) and the type of bass. ive read bass guys use same kinds of mics as designed for bass drums.. curious what you have for a mic.. i have the cheapo shure pg series bassdrum mic, works ok i have to eq it alot but seems fine, certainly for my playing level anyhow..
i was just listening yet again great job guys

thanks Roger that means somethin coming from you as i like your tunes too . Frank: oh cool.. yea that makes sense.. i wish i could do that with drums it adds so much noise to the mix.. i actually woulda got a digital drum set if they werent so expensive.. but theres some things things that a real instrument can do, nuances, etc.. id like to try brushes (one of these decades) and im sure that wouldnt work out too good on digital.. anyhow nice job again it is a great song aint it though.

Amazing what you guys did with a bass and vocals! Kept my interest for the full seven minutes! Frank, do you give lessons? That would be worth a trip to Germany!
Great work, guys!

thanks charlie . . . very kind . . . if frank is ever kind enough we may have a "concept" here . . . plus he plays in my key . . . i sat there and listned to his bass playing and thought "he;'s playing the bass like he was playing a lead line on a start" . . . . i just feel fortunate he allowed me to be a small part . . . as i told frank, anything he would ever do would be humbling to me to be a part of . . . . isn't he so f--king talented!?!? . . .
