Yes! It's finally here! ANOTHER FINE MESSThe PS5UG's first CD of all-original material is now available for sale here. Featuring twelve tunes (45 minutes in length) from fellow PS5 users around the world. It's been a lotta work, but now it's a done deal. A HUGE thank you to all the artists who have kindly donated a song to this effort. You guys rock! All the graphics are rendered from .png files, so the quality is much better than a typical .jpg image. I have the CD in front of me, and it's pretty darn nice! Also for what it's worth, the track information has been uploaded to the service WinAmp uses for CD info, so if you have the disc in your WinAmp player while online, it might just download the song names into your player for you! And of course, an assortment of items is also available with the 'AFM' cover art, from buttons to sweatshirts. Check it out!

I don't think it'll cause a huge wave of responses, but I've put links to the CD on both my SoundClick page, and on the band site "News" page as well : members.cox.net/rvincent55/news.htm

Thanks Mike for going to all of this work for the forum. I hope it can raise enough for a while to keep things going here. The past couple of years will be some great memories. Better go over and get a copy while they are still around. Thanks again, Stan

Well I went over and put the CD in my shopping cart but when I want to proceed to checkout I get:
The page cannot be displayed
I guess I'll need to call the order in. Stan

Thanks Stan. Don't know why you had that problem. I can let you know when the order goes through if you like. Remember the money raised will go towards expanding the online shop, so there will be a lot wider selection of PS5UG items available. Something for everyone, hopefully. Maybe by next year I'll have recovered enough to think about a volume II.

Just got in from St. Louis and had my CDs and long Sleeve Shirt waiting for me . . . . Very nice job Mike!!! Quality is excellent, did you "master them" or just make sure volumes were same? Thanks for the inclusion . . . . Roger

I used MP3 Trim (available down in the archives) to more or less level out all the volumes. Also one or two little edits to deal with abrupt beginnings or endings, but otherwise they're as intended.
