I had to get back to recording something and then I remembered a song that a friend of mine in the Army played on the last day I ever saw him. In fact, I've never heard the song since. It was Spider John by Willis Alan Ramsey. I know I didn't do this much justice since I just got the chords off the net, and some of the word-phrasings were tough for me. Plus, I didn't want to burn a bunch of hrs. on it. I had a ton of hamburgers to cook this afternoon for a Teacher's Staff picnic. Simple 2-track with some of the lyrics towards the end messed up. Just an acoustic mix that could have easily been done on the PS5. Hope it doesn't stink to bad... www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=221925&songID=7657051

I like it a lot. The guitar has a lovely rough timbre, and it's probably one of your best vocals. Yeah, it's a bit rushed here and there, but it also gives the lyric a poignant immediacy that might not be there in a more 'polished' attempt. Sometimes the 'demo' captures the spirit of the song more than the 'final' version.
Really nice, Stan.

Very nice, and very well done, Stan.
Keep this for our World Tour. This will give us others, dog-tired from rock ‘n rolling, the opportunity to have a quick drink backstage, whilst you show the audience how much talent we have in store.

Stan,
Must have missed seeing this post last time I was on. Nice performance. Very relaxed and natural sounding.
