I think it changed mood and complexity of the mix Boy, I'll say! I'll refrain from comparing it to 'Atlantis' by Donovan, but it's much more... trippy now. I'm not sure if the MIDI has made the song sound more desolate, or if it's just enhancing a feeling that was there all along. Either way, the keyboard has made a powerful change in the mood of the song. And it sounds like the little things I've mentioned have been addressed. It's still not my favourite Stan song, but it does make you sit up and take notice. It's a great new tool to have in your kit. No doubt that once you're more comfortable with it, it will lend a fantastic layer to your work. Very exciting.

Well Mike, I even took it one step tripper. I sparingly used a vocoder on some vocal parts in spots but it didn't mix in quite as well as expected. The vocoder track sounded pretty good in standalone but once it was put into the mix, weill I don't know.

Oh, I like this. Very dreamy but edged. Drums are simple, as someone mentioned, but they SOUND good , you know? Are the drums PS5-generated? They are very immediate. My drums always sound canned. Nice job as always.

I do remember your handle from a couple of years back. I'm glad you came back through.
Hey thanks for listening & commenting. I generate my drum tracks clip by clip using EzDrummer from the computer and then bring them over to the recorder as a stereo wav.
This was not done on the PS5, I just put the song thread in the wrong place so it was misleading.
Thanks again for stopping by and listening. Stan
