Here's another new one. As per the story in the link, it came about during a discussion with the wife about how blues songs are always sad and down-on-my-luck. Most of the lyrics were just improvised on the spot, and she made me go write it down. I added a bit more, and there you go. Toss in a generic chord structure and start recording. Along the way, it turned into a country tune. Not an epic piece of songwriting, but they don't all have to be weighty tomes on the state of being. It's just a bit of silliness. The I Ain't Got No Blues page. Once again, mostly done in Cubase. Drums: BIAB Bass: Fender 1977 Precision Guitars: Fender Telecaster (lead), Gibson SG Special (rhythm), Epiphone (acoustic) Piano: Yamaha (I forget the model #)

Hey Mike!
Well! This was delightful, I literally smiled the whole time. It's pretty much a comedy song! The line about the pool and size of the deck was pretty cheeky lol! Too good.
Each cubase track seems to get better and better! Great production! Can't wait for the next one!

Yeah, it's just a laugh. Thanks for finally being the first person to comment on that line, which I've been waiting for!
Coming so soon after the last song, a lot of the procedures in Cubase were still fresh in my mind, which I think helped the mix on this one a lot.

Yes, this was a fun one. Your lyrics are very witty along with your humor. Very much enjoyed!
