Almost Payday

Found these tracks on my 2488 recorder that is about a 10 year old recording.
I uploaded the tracks onto my computer and mixed them down.
This is a very interesting song but even 4:30 minutes solos can get really old. I must have tried to make it interesting.
I liked the way the 4 guitar tracks came together so I posted for fun.

This is really good Stan. Is it a cover or an original? I agree the guitars all work great together. The bass is fantastic and your style of lead guitar is very distinctive. Do I also hear a keyboard way in the back making whirling noises? Overall it's a tight and exciting mix. Superb all the way around.

Man thanks for listening Mike.. The weird sounds is the WAH pedal.. no keyboard.
I hardly even remember recording this... probably just a chord structure I picked up on my acoustic guitar one afternoon and decide to record it. The drums were probably recognize as the Tascam 2488 drum machine. I forgot how good those patterns were.

Very nice Stan! I like the vibe and chord progressions. Really nice to hear from you and your playing. The 2488 was a special machine for sure, I kinda miss mine. The PS5 too, was a special time of my life making all those recordings and learning so much.

Any kind of collab is always welcome. It shows we still have some recording interest no matter the age.
