My favorite phrase from the Joe Smo show: TEXTI think maybe the fact that POP-Contemp Christian is a new category on Sound Click might have something to do with this, but I actually got to #2 on the charts. You just never know when you post something who will be listening. Probably won't be there tomorrow, but it should still be on the following page: www.soundclick.com/genres/chartsSub.cfm?genre=Pop&subgenre=178¤tpage=1Thanks PS5 members for listening. Stan

Hey Stan!
Allow me to add my congratulations!
I once made it to #1 on the classical baroque chart. Of course, at the time there were only four songs on the chart! I retired my song when it fell to #4. ;D
BTW, "Be Still My Soul" is also one of my favorite hymns . I play it as an instrumental on my twelve string acoustic.

Hey, Charlie, for a kick, try it on an overdriven 360-12, using the THRASH Pattern ;D

With that much distortion, it wouldn't matter what I was playing!

Hey Charlie, Sounds like a future collab to me. Be Still My Soul I think started in F#m and capo-ed on the 2nd fret. Maybe we could work out an arrangement and you or BP could sing the verse so that we don't get the "Leon/Alfalfa" twang to it (a voice too ruff around the edges for choir or hymns) lol. Well at least I know how it felt to have a one-day almost numro-uno hit. How quickly my fans forget me (What is going On!!!) Stan

Keep watching the charts, Stan. "Hey Joe" has bounced around between #20 and #6 over the last few months, so I never know where it's going to be from week to week.

Hey Stan!
We can look at it. I do it in D. I also use some little fills between verses, too, that aren't normally part of hte song.
Don't know about vocals. As I said, I do it as an instrumental.
Let me record myself this weekend and let you give it a listen. Then we can decide.
