... confident about your guitar playing, take a listen to these! They'll remind you where you are in a rather poinient way! Recommend that you start with "Renaissance Pieces", then "Rabbit's Leap". And in case somebody fails to notice, the maestro is NOT me, it's our very own Digital Kettle!www.soundclick.com/bands/2/digitalkettlemusic.htm

Digital Kettle,
Let me be as a "father" to you for a minute by saying that you ought to be putting 100% of your energies into your instrumental guitar work. Either one of the pieces above would have qualified in my book as worthy of being professionally recorded.
Volume levels were a bit low. Recommend, if you haven't already, that your next purchase be a TOP quality condensor mic. Of course, I am assuming that your classical guitar has no electronics.
Awesome work. You've touched my soul.

Wonderful, simply wonderful. Shades of Tallis, Byrd, Telleman, et al.

Digital Kettle is quite a good guitarist. Doesnt make me feel unconfident in my own playing but makes me want to pick up an classical guitar and get those fingers movin. He is very accurate. Bloody awesome stuff.

DK;
HF lead me to your lastest posts on soundclick; please keep up the fine, fine work; i'm torn between just giving up and quitting (and sending HF all my equipment) or vowing to work harder and harder to get better. Thanks for the excellent music and inspiration!
And I have to say, keep putting stuff on Soundclick! I've almost got enough for an entire CD, and it's so nice to hear such clean work!
Mahalo/Grazie

What Tony's referring to above is that I'll be changing my will and leaving all my guitars to DK. At least I know that he can actually play them, unlike ... well, we'll leave it at that.
