Just got my new PS5 and spent a few minutes and put something together (I Believe in Christmas). Not finished with the song yet, but am open to suggestions (particularly mixing). www.soundclick.com/bands/4/davegraesermusic.htmThanks. Dave Graeser

Dave great playing/singing, pretty song! just need to get the levels up. common issue with people new to the ps5. you have to use some analogue techniques for volume adjustment. i think mike has some tips in the tips section. try going louder than youd think on the mix.. listen, experiment. again great, what else ya got?

Hi Dave, I just used RealOne player and it sounds reeal good! I am not one to give criticism when some mikes, records, and sings better than I. The only suggestion that I might have is to add a bridge part with your verses, and maybe some acoustic lead part somewhere towards the middle or end of your song. Loved your message and mood of the song. It was the true representation of your title. I would love to hear more... (and yes, slide that master fader up-up) Stan

Yes, it is original. I just took about a half hour and put it together and still need to add bass, percussion and probably violin. I wanted to get some input first. When I finish it I want y'all to take a listen again and let me know what you think.
I'll give your other suggestions a try, too.
Thanks everyone!
Dave

Dave,
The first original Christmas Song this year. Great song. I'm interested in hearing it with the additional instruments you're planning.

Dave, welcome to the team! Lovely song, reminds me of One Tin Soldier from Billy Jack. And thanks for filling out a Team Info profile. I'll also be adding your link to our Soundclick list.

very nice!
great sentiment, excellent guitar work!
it's beautiful as it stands- putting a bass and violin (or cello, or mandolin) behind it would add some, but it's very strong without any additional embellishment!

Reminds me of someone who knows the true meaning of Christmas - not just peace of earth and ho-ho-ho. Loved the tune and meaning, brother.
