Hey Josh, great start! I like that song very much - and also your voice. Both remind me a little of Mark Everett, could have a place on any Eels-album (and that is supposed to be a compliment) What I hear in the song, as it progresses, is a bit of accordeon or harp, which would compliment the folkish feel very well; and maybe (but only maybe) some background vocals. If you like, I could TRY to give it some bandoneon, which is a bit warmer than accordeon (TRY in very capital letters, as I'm not so familiar with that beast yet, so I couldn#t promise anything); or maybe Charlie is interested in doing harp? But don't feel pushed; that's just my two cents Keep on the great songwriting!!! Frank

Hey Welcome to the group. Awesome voice. I think your vocal needs to be altittle louder in the mix but its an really cool tune. Do you like Dave mathews band. When I listen to this I hear a dave mathews band type feel. Great stuff I look forward to more great songs. Guitar sounds real nice too. Just great!

Great first tune!
Yeah, lower the guitar a little, and up the volume in your mix, or if you have an extra track, copy the vocal track to the spare for more vocal definition.
Thanks for the tune, Stan

thanks for the feedback. i used one mic about a foot away, and messed around with the positioning of it. so its all one track, played live. i hope i'll have more to come...if any of u would like to do anything with it, thatd be great. likewise, if anybody needs any help...with maybe lyrics or vocals...i might be your man. thanks again...josh

Great! Thumbs Up! Yeah the guitar is a 'lil up there over the voice but still a good solid soud. Use an MP3 editors to do a boost overall and burn a CD, it will be a cool thing to have. Tom

I love this song Josh. The Rhythm Guitar/Voice combo works very well together. Josh, you've got to start recording on separate tracks! It gives you a lot of options during mix down. Also, you can redo one track (or just part of one) while keeping everything else. I'd love to hear this song with you singing a second vocal! Welcome aboard. Jim
