Hey
Very Intresting. Got some thing against drums? lol. Just another one I think that having a band with you would make this tune alot more listenable.
Alot of potential. This is obviously a draft of the song. And I think it could turn into a really good tune.
Good Luck with the song if you decide to work on it more.

sounds good. i think its just "draft" to some folks cause theres only guitar/vocal not cause it needs any fixing. you could just say "its done" and then its not a draft anyhow sounds good. i would like the opportunity to redo the drums on back 2 before if possible.. although im listening now, nice loud bass in the mix sounds good.. i could probably improve it A little bit by now. such a good tune . franks the man around here huh? wow. someday i hope to be able to always hit the right notes too do we still have all the stuff? i still have a back2b4.zip dated 10/17/03, was that pre-matt attempting percussion? if so we could salvage the vocal volume if you have the other one with frank.. i could do it up on computer and redo drums? whatcha say? dont all wives have that "my husband doesnt have a valid opinion since i married him" coindition?

I bet, if you covered "Father & Son" by Cat Stevens, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference in the vocals.
Loved the song, but could be jazzed up a bit with some more instrumentation. Basic guitar track and vocals are fine. Piano would add some percussive accent. Couldn't say about drums. I'll leave those comments to mattl.

I don't hear Cat, but I do hear a bit of Nilsson, amazingly enough. I like the tune, but I'm of two minds about leaving it stark or adding backing. You really need to load in the pattern file and at least do it with the metronome, then we could take a stab at adding things. When I write on acoustic, I have a hard time hearing it as a finished tune with other instruments. Oddly enough, sometimes I end up ditching the acoustic in the end. I think I can hear the sound of personal growth in this number. . .

thanks mike . . . all points taken . . . have to use this wonderful little tool as more of a true tool than a sketch pad . . . and nilsson is an all time favorite of mine, that's a great compliment . . .
