Hey Matt!
Another very interesting, slightly bizarre (in a good way) sounding piece. Never know WHAT you're gonna come up with! ;D

Hey you got your self a soundclick site!
Sounds pretty intresting, I think some vocals could be good if the melody felt right!
Good luck with it!

you wanted the best , you got the best, the hottest band in the world.... KIIIIIIIIIIISS Yeah, one of my favourites way back then ;D Interesting groove. Bass-o-holic that I am, let me know, if I can do some for you, when you figured the final layout of the song (lyrics, optional breaks etc.) frank

thank you very much guys.. yep lyrics itll be.. frank youre ON if the new guy doesnt answer or want to anytime soon (i asked him if he wanted to..) i should work on some lyrics then.. tighten on up on the drums.. i think i did as good as i could with the guitar tone considering its sounds horrible (oooooold strings) took me about 2 hours to get a metronome click to the groove i was trying to play, can you believe that??! well thats at least better than some past songs that i just couldnt get, guess thats progress.. i think its getting easier.. hopefully tonight i can do some more on this yea mike i thought it sounded sorta like chris whitley in a FAR OFF kinda way.. maybe a little radiators? now im dreaaaaming

welp at work today i had some time to mess with some lyrics (im lucky believe me i know). when i got home I gave my wife the pda with the lyrics on it, sat down wih the guitar and started playin the song, i told her read the words as i play it and she got a big grin (actually told her to soing it but no go). so i think i have a keeper here.. GKHead is volunteered to do bass and i think he's grabbed it. once i get it back ill get some vocals on there. BUT, frank if theres room maybe a bass SOLO??? i havent really determined how im gonna lay out the lyrics and how much extra space ill have (you know as yet im terrible at that structure stuff) ive got an actual jam (ya know, with real people) scheduled here tomorrow night so thats a rare thing to look forward to!!

GKHead recommended i redo the rythm to tighten on up (love that song) and im i progress.. not much luck but ill get it (today/tonight!!). funny you say that i did a sample take on the vocals and did it in a pseudo tom waits style (where is your voice when i need you roger?) and its....interesting.. not sure how im gonna approach this, probably get that guitar fixed up and leave the sample vocals and see what GK thinks.. for the chorus when i first came up with the progression the words that popped into my head and fit for the acending run were" hunt and peck to find the chords, sure do need to play some more" (cause my buddy the GOOD guitarist noted im hunting and pecking to get the right notes if you can believe i based the rest oif the song on that line as the chorus.. lookin forward to it, HOPE i can getr the rythm right, its got that cyclical chug to it.. kinda makes me think of new orleans readiators acoustic.. louisiana had a kick butt jam here last night with some fine musicians what a treat!!nothing like playing with good people to make you sound better got some on "tape" sounds good.. im shocked actually.. so in stead of typing and readin in should be doing that rhythm....
