Sounds better! Good job balancing the mix better!

Hey Rob, Really like Fallen...It started out like a "Foriegner" song.. with that great driving guitar. Vocals are great as well but I would like for lead vocal to cut through the mix just a little more.
Another one I can add to my Rob collection.
Great work buddy, Stan

Cam, Stan thanks. Yeah, i know what you mean about the lead. Actually although i set all the eq and panning to defaults and sliders to same level, i also added reverb on the backing track. the backing track has the penultimate version of the lead (i do the jim method of recording and then listening and rerecording until its "good enough") so the backing track also has the backing vocals that i wanted to reverb. but when i reverbed it, i also muddied the penultimate lead vocal...i will boost the hirange of the lead vocal and see if that satisfies your request... thanks for the support! Later Rob

Didn't mean to put you back work (lol) on Fallen.
This mixing stuff tends to be a bit harder than it first appears. I've detroyed several mixes without backup due to my bad bouncing techniques. These posts have helped me as well.

Good one Rob. I really like your backing vocals. Great song!
