I still like it; hearing the metronome at the start makes me itch to program some pattern drums for it, tho. Then bass, maybe some strings. . . And I think you'll find it was Havin Fun who suggested the 12-string for some depth. A good lonely song.

Nice, Roger. I'm curious what you're doing with the vocals on the right and left channel. At first I thought you copied your vocals to another track adding noticable delay. It sounds like the right side slightly leads the left ... consistently. But then towards the very end of the song, the right and left are clearly different vocals (not copies of a single track). Did you sing it twice? exactly (almost) the same? If so, that's amazing. They sound identical. Puzzled in Seattle

considering some advice i just got from someone your question is very appropriate . . . no jim, i have a habit on almost everything i do (even the stones collabs) of recording vocals twice, sometimes trying to do it exactly and sometimes purposefully being a little off (of course matt says i'm a litlle off all the time) . . . mike and i had a discussion about this yesterday. so yeah i record two completely different vocal tracks and hope they work . . . thanks for noticing . . .

Nice track Roger - your voice and your guitar style blend and work together very well!
