Well since I haven't posted a Christian song in some time, and I deleted one off, I needed to balance the song pool. Actually I have the week off so I killed a good part of today on this one. A little muttled (bass and distored guitar) and repetative backing, but unique in its own kind of way. If you want to listen I have the lyrics also posted. Thanks Roger.
Deadlines are a part of our lives so that is what inspired to do the song. The song took over 5 hours to write and record which is one of those longer projects that I've worked on since I got the PS5.
I enjoy collaborations more than a one-man show. If you ever have anything in mind give me a call. Your vocals are off the planet! A true rocker!
I appreciate your time to listen and your comments.

Matt,
I know both sides of my family-tree points toward the south. No telling what's in the Hine's 57 mix? My favorite rock bands & influences seem to come from Southern Rock: Dire Straight, Allman Brothers, Lynard, 38 Special... dual-lead-lines are great!

Matt, I'm a Fender fan too. The Les Paul special is OK, and I play most of my lead on it because my cheap arbor strat usually doesn't cut it. But, I've play a real good-quality Fender before and can really fly on it; and eventually will get a good one. My eyes is currently on the new 50th anniversity deluxe strat with the S-1 switch that allows picks to confiugre from serial to parrelel. Got to have it so don't get me started, or I'll be at Guitar Center tomorrow, with an unhappy marriage on my hands.

Matt,
From what I understand the S1 switch changes the 3 pickups into different signals giving you an almost unlimited number of possible sounds. It also implements some of the pros' rewiring techniques.
It can sound like the original '54 prototype or the hotest signal that you want. Some good in the marketing reviews anyway. Most of the new American Deluxe Strats have this switch now (but they are all around $1,100 and over.
