as always i say 1.0 as i expect to fix the drums one decade here soon.. www.soundclick.com/bands/3/mattlmusic.htmits called starting over.. i may have some eq to adjust too kinda got shutoff as it were while fine tuning (ie: autopunching) the drums.. i wrote and recorded the whole thing today.. this fact amazes me still that i can get a song out just like that if i put the energy & time into it.. oh also its on my site(see tagline/signature)

i cant leave it alone.. cam or rog did you guys notice the bass is HEAVY on the gtr in that song? (these dam canadian seaguls are so darned bass heavy..) i tried eq'ing out - posted the results on soundlcick..still seems bassy. also lowered the volume on the last chorus wherei was blowing the speakers.. hey i think i found it: 200hz!! it cut the lowend drone though im not happy about the other effcts to the sound of the gtr.. but i think its necessary unless i wanna retake and i dont think i can do any better unfortunately so no retakes.. plus this is getting old.. hey im on #56 in whatever chart im on on soundclick (largely to you guys im sure hehehehe) but STAN, i noticed the guy right next to me is tequila sunrise.. huh. i wonder if he wrote it , what a great song! they're gonna be famous and charge part of your sons college tuition for concert admisssion on a reunion tour someday, mark my words

I'm probably not the best critic in the group because I'm still a long way from being a good mixer. I listened to it before and after, and there is a very noticable difference in quality. As for too much bass I can't tell. Listened to it on "Media Player" and it sounds great. Well-balanced mix. Lots of feeling in both vocals and guitar. Reunion tour! Cool! PS5 group? Where are we going to meet? We can get together in a Motel 6 somewhere (why not the Hilton), layout the songs and practice for a day, rent a park somewhere and charge admission. In a couple of years it might be too late. Do it now. The fingers are getting stiffer by the minute. Oh the copyright laws...forget it. Stan

I wish I could think of who this reminds me of (Waterboys?), but it's fairly tight. Low end is not so bad, just gives the guitar a bit of depth. Steady vocals, which is always half the battle, it seems. Nice pleasent song, your version of Mother Nature's Son. Conjures up a lazy sunny afternoon daydream (or memory).

Listened again Matt. The drums really fill the acoustics out! Good depth and relaxing sound.
OK. Motel 6 is out. Just trying to stay within our low budget plan. Maybe a private condo or something with lots of electrical outlets and good sound insullation. No Marshall stacks, just 60W and under.
