Hey Guys,
I realize I may be breaking a few rules, but what the hey!
I still own a Ps5 and plan on using it for songwriting, and I still appreciate you here people's opinions and thoughts, if thats hard to beleive
Havin fun,
In the past 11 months that Ive been doing this, Ive recorded around 29 songs, and wrote an additional 5 songs and 12 instrumentals (Thus far), that have not been recorded yet.
Yeah, I agree in a way, When I remix here, I Quiet it down a bit!
Funny, I did have compression on the vocal? When I remix I'll go back and check the compression settings, and yes the drums need to come up in the mix a little bit I think.
Well lol... this is where the agreeing ends, the old Ps5 version did peter out I admit but I think this version ends strong and I like the buttoned ending its a little different but I like it!
Thanks Mike! I appreciate the critque, Ill work that mix a bit more with fresh ears!
Hey stan,
Thanks man! I also thought the vocals were some of my best, your tip on fading out the electric sounds real good, I bet that would work perfectly! Thanks again Stan!
Thanks everybody, and thanks for not banning me from the forum

I really liked this until the overdriven guitar came in. It's just too loud and overdriven. It works well in the solo, but those power chords are just waaaay too a) loud, and b) crunchy.

Otherwise, it's not a bad recording. Bass is nice and punchy, it's very clear and clean overall. Now that you have the 2488, I'd certainly record vocals with the compression ON. Mix-wise, the drums were kinda limp. Maybe more EQ/volume on them, but that will come in time. I know this is a first effort with a different machine

And just like the PS5 version, the end just stops abruptly. Not good.
