I think I'd have cut and pasted the 'backing chorus' in a few more times, like the solo and the end, just to drive the point home. Makes you wonder what they'll be recording on when they're our age! Looking back at our antiques and laughing. . .

Thanks Matt, I thought this was pretty funny 2.. idea came to me after 2-3 inturruptions during vocal sessions.. Both my girls are on there 7/10. I'm doomed for the next few years until they are on their own ;p I didn't like the rythem tone either, that might be why I ended up mixing it way back compared to the vocals/lead, didn't realize until I got to work how out front they are.. I played the gretsch all weekend, and the diff in tone is unreal.. the Squire grates on me.. Guess new pick-ups are in order. Have to add it to the G.A.S. list I didn't think about repeating the girls over the last lead part.. only reason ending is so long is that I was using this track as lead practice and left it long for mix..

I agree on the effect Matt, I listened to it loud at work after my crew went home. It really bounces left to right quickly.. As far as the Squire.. shh don't tell the wife, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Can't complain, she made me buy it when I got my pod so that I wouldn't tear Gretsch up playing it everyday.. but new pick-ups are in order Spike

Investment, I like that.. V1.2 re-recorded the back-up guitar. used mellower tone to fit lead style better (I think ) Jeff

Jeff, See that there was true inspiration on this one! I would have used a different approach: "Knocking on Hubbie's Door." The boys are smart enough not to bother me with headphones on, but the wife, she stands there until I rip my headphones off and hit the Stop button. (to tell me she's going to the grocery store, or that I need to get something done around the house) Good song. Stan
