hey, new song ...needs some bass (maybe efkay would be so kind), and maybe something else. Not much to say on this one, except that its deliberatley sparse...and im experimenting with a different vocal style. interested in any thoughts you guys have. www.soundclick.com/bands/4/muddybathermusic.htm

Well, it's certainly not a Houston accent! Nice little poppy tune. Certainly bass would be just the ticket to fill it up. I like it. The vocal reminds me of Ian Dury, oddly enough.

hah! you know i'm so frightened of losing the accent that i often hear myself over doing it...
ian dury! too obvious an influence? glad you liked it though.

Rob, Hi! I always luv your stuff. I would not change a thing other than the vocal and overall mix might be a little dry for my taste, experiment with some mixdown effects and other stuff, don't over do.....just some subtle polish. Thanks Tom

nice rob!
gettin that timing right down., sounds good
billy bragg! now i know what mike was talkin about
if you played this on a raw sounding jangly acoustic i would bet money it was billy bragg, great song rob, what the heck vitamins are you takin?
the chord changing up an octave is a little shakey but technical detail.. great song. i didnt even listen to the lyrics really and i like it. funny how some good tunes are like that..

I like it with humor and a Different twist. Love both your song writing and musical skills. Now the Matt brought it up, I think I will get on some young-man Souperman vitiams. I just started the over 50 gray one-a-days, and I'm starting to sleep a lot. Stan

the humour is getting more important for me recently. im getting ready to get myself on stage and i really need songs like this, i figure half or third of the set has got to be funny, rather than "fallen" which i love, but its too dark. also since i dont have a band its going to be hard to do all these songs i've done so far! i have to get a body of songs that are good enough to be performed with just me an the guitar.
not sure if matt is qualified to offer advice on vitamins, recreationals maybe...

efkay, i posted the files to your ps5 folder on mmm. i also worked out the chords (playing them through the guitar tuner! found forgotten and rediscovered method, but when it told me A#...i was cursing until i read that = Bb...ignoramus)...so there is a TG bassline..but you can ignore it if you like.
current version is in soundclick.
