Mostly a Beautiful Assault is the name of this new song it is of course an internal Joke with the MBA people, is an aggresive guitar track, two guitars doing rythm and two playing lead, it was very fun to record until my fingers started to feel numb. I played some pinch harmonics, to try the EMG pick ups in the epiphone and I have to admit they sound great. (Zakk Wylde style) Hope you like it guys. Mighty Big Amplification, I would think! Really nice Gustavo - tight, powerful, full-bodied. The tone and chops most of us would die to have. And so different from your beautiful love songs. Great job. Must Be Amazing!

Hi guys.
Thanks for the feedback. I really like to record this kind of instrumentals it reminds me of times where I was a kid wearing a black t-shirt with a skull (every heavy metal group use to have one of this T-shirts), with my hair longer than ever, and wear down jeans, and of course boots with spiky things, then I found out the kind of girls I liked, didn't liked the kind of boy I was, and of course I betrayed my musical look and went for the more nice clean boy look, but as soon as arrived to my house after a date with the nice girl, I will turn up my marshall 40w amp, connect my red Ibanez and played along to whatever metal cd I had in my stereo until my fingers felt dead.
That was 12 year ago, so to be able to remember those days is really incredible. Ok enough of the "Wonder years moment". Thanks for reading this. And thanks for your support.
G. Meillon
PS: I still have the red Ibanez!

my first electric was an ibanez (early 90s) that had cutaways like a gibson sg roughly and had a mahogony body and 2 humbuckers. i bought it from with money i recieved as a happy 21 from my newly discovered fathers parents when i found him/them after never having been in my life. i consequently got strat fever and traded it in for a cheapo japanese made strat (before they had squire) which i later found out had a neck problem and was unrepairable. i wish i knew now.. whatsat they say? i miss that guitar it was a fine instrument! i have another ibanez as many of you are all too tired of hearing about.. love it!
