Following John Phillips' June '67 monster hit, "San Francisco" (made famous by Scott McKenzie), Eric Burdon & The Animals penned their own memorable song about the now-legendary San Franciscan utopia. San Franciscan Nights- GKHead - basses - gmeillon - guitars - HF - vocals & PS5 drums To hear "San Franciscan Nights", click here.Coming in August: Final installment of the SF Trilogy

Some really good parts in this song. Loved the intro. The vocals were really good, but nobody has a chance to match up with Eric Burdon. "Sky Pilot," is still one of my favorites of all time. In fact, if the Animals hadn't release it, it wouldn't have ever flown for me. Eric could take a mediocre song and make it into a smash hit. Or maybe it just the fact that I never intended on a visit to SF so it would be hard to reach me as a target audience. Good job! Stan

Part two of the trilogy and it's just as nice as the first one (how many movies can say that?). Interesting accent in the first part - can't place it. Slightly Chinese? Playing is impeccable throughtout, esp. Gustavio's lovely guitar phrasing. Bass may be just slightly too hot, but it may also be the MP3/Soundclick compression. Kudos also for the drum programming. I'm impressed with the pauses. Good job all around.

I got wrapped in the original covers on my comments.
I meant to mention that both songs had almost production quality! Excellent collaborations, and great mixes.

Yes; the vocal is probably one of the best yet. Practice does make perfect.

Scott - great job on the vocals ! I am also wondering what kind of accent that was during the opening Gustavo- I don't know what to say expect, AWESOME ! Geez, I wish I had spent a little more time cleaning up a few parts on my bass line after hearing the impeccable guitar work you laid down on this song ! John
