Our second recording of the day was actually the first song that we practiced together, being that we felt it was the easiest. After a few takes, we tired of the 3-chord song, and began practicing "Daytripper". Later in the day, we "got back" to recording Get Back.In this recording, Rob reprises his gritty vocals, which by now were in full force, Stan blazes through the lead like a hot knife through butter, Ronnie provided a solid bass line, and I picked up Ronnie's Strat to follow along on rhythm. P.S. - The intro clip of "Mr. Tambourine Man" is HF and HF, Jr. killing some time between takes.

I'm really impressed with the clarity on both the songs I've heard so far. Good job to Stan for keeping the pulse of the song going, and Rob's tasty vocals. Superb.

Very impressive, for just meeting up and jamming for the first time, it takes a good group of musicians to do that with out rehearsing hours for a month. Very impressive, nice lead stan and Havin fun jr sure plays pretty tight, some talent there for sure! Rob man, I dig your voice, very good! A day in ps5 group history Awesome, Cameron

No, Scott dug up a buddy named Ronnie to handle bass chores. Hey Scott, is Ron going to buy a PS5 now that he's seen/heard several in action?

Yea Ronnie was real laid back and real good! He said he started playing at about the age of 16 is now 30. There is something about playing with a great bass player that insipres everyone! It just fills the whole room. While playing lead I was trying to follow the bass lines in my head.
I've only had the priv. of playing with a couple of really good bass players in my life, and Ronnie was one of them. The other one was a 15 yr. old on a 5-string bass that was unbelievable. He is in college right now majoring in music. I think he would be 20 now.
Rob ought to team up with Ronnie when he plays some live gigs down in Houston.

Let me clear up that I was talking about bass players doing live music, not recorded. We have several great bass player here that I'd definitely love to jam with.
Charlie, I appreciate the complement but I've heard what you can do on a guitar with different styles of music. I'm a one-dimensional player, and center on basic penatonic scales for most of my lead parts. Get me off of rock or blues and I'm lost.

I've recently had the privilege to work with GKHead and, man, that cat can rock! Hope to be able to do something soon with efkay, too. As for Ronnie getting a PS5 - I hope so. I agree. He WAS awesome!
