Consuming Fire is one of my favorite songs. It has a 6/8 time so I only had one PS5 drum pattern to choose from. I had lots of fun, and spent just enough time not to get burned out on it. P.S. - where did everyone go? forum is very sparce lately. Stan

The guitar tracks have a very Neil Young-ish feel to them. Vocal seems kinda buried in back, but the amount of reverb used seems appropriate. The wife and I were in Wales the past few days, crawling around some 13th century castles. So that's where I've been, anyway.

Sounds like fun Mike. I am glad you guys had fun. I know many families are enjoying vacations just before school starts back for the kids.
We had a fun time in Destin FL. over the weekend, but it looks like some real ruff weather there right now. Lots of white sand, beautiful ocean front, and lots of good seafood. Fun watching the kids play in the ocean.
Neil Young is a complement but not quite sure what it sounds like to me. Maybe the fact that the acoustic track didn't get buired in the mix is why Neil rings a bell.

Well, actually it's the electric tracks. I can hear echos of stuff like My My, Hey Hey and Ohio in what you've got going on this one.

Well the drums are PS5 anyway.
(the only 6/8 pattern on the PS5, or as I would say it 3/4 time), so no other choice on this one. I did the bass just after my first guitar track (acoustic track) was laid down.
Thanks for the complements. Stan

There are also waltzes in the Jazz & Country sections. The first one is 6/8, but the second is 3/4. Altho neither would probably suit the song in question.
