Sounds like parts of several Stones songs, mostly Gimmie Shelter. The guitar tracks need to be brought up more against the TG track, but the reverb sounds okay. As for the playing, it's certainly better than your previous work. The rhythm parts aren't too bad, but the soloing and little runs tend to slide onto notes that don't quite fit. As the song progresses, more and more notes start to go bad. I'd look into mastering the PS5's editing & autopunch features so you can go back and correct these sort of errors systematically. Also you might want to consider posting shorter songs. At nearly nine minutes it can start to wear down the listener. Good for working on your technique, tho.
At the end of the day, nobody is born knowing how to solo, so practice practice practice.

hey its got a nice feel.. other than that peaked signal a few times sounds goodius.. nice balanceorama of the TG drums i think. it took me a bit to recognize it but it sure is a cheerier song w/out the words.. something to PONDER there (for me). solo goes outta tune at 2:50 and a few other places but its minor and i leave stuff like that in songs myself (obviously).. you hear it occasionally in pro stuff on the radio.. whos to say whats right for the song.. id say good progress in 3 yrs.. my first three 3yrs didnt amount to as much.. i have no discipline for things boring like practicing, just "play guitar" some bass would go nice.. you can do that with the ps5 TG i think. at the end this sounds JUST like a velvet underground jam

Well you two guys are appreciated for giving me your responces. The thing is too long and was never meant to go on there for listening. I have another long one called MIDNIGHT RAIN, which I might put up. So I guess for the soloing, i will need to learn a few more scales. As long as its sincere and in a good way. Your comments were good to read for me and I agree with you Mike and Mattl. thank yous two p Sius: I cant sing, but maybe I should put up a hilarious song called Norwegian Wood. You shoul hear me when I sing "I". Not afraid to laugh at myself... ;D

Jamie-
All reviews here are (hopefully) geared towards improving the musician or the song. Nobody needs comments that are just bashing ("You suck!"), or off the point ("Great! MY new song is on my page, and . . . "). You asked for critical feedback, and while sometimes it can be difficult, very few of us are churning out work that can't be improved in some way (me included). Even Clapton wishes he could play better, so do what you can to keep improving. It's the people who don't want to get better that worry me.

Mike, I definitely want to improve and I hope I don't give the impression that I don't want to. I hope I am not the one you are worrying about... and i TRY (sometimes) to post good post questions... good to be here jamis
