just haveta note here that i always hated this song, genre, band, etc because of that line about neil but hey thats JUST ME and im not here to argue, so, moving on in the spirit of constructive criticism.. this is like another guitar player compared to the last one you posted! great job cool ntones nice wrist jiggle on your rythm great time (to me, but look where thats coming from take with a grain of salt)!! i hate it when people make such leaps .. mine take years a few offkey notes that might need fixing (if youre inclined).. i hear on the second listen.

I have to agree with Matt, this is much better than anything else I've heard from you. The guitar does wander a bit here and there; keeping it simple & steady is the way to go. The singing obviously needs more work, but when it's right (as in some of the choruses), it's not bad at all. Certainly keeping a clear head and putting in lots of practice time will result in some real improvement. I'd really like to see that happen.

how do I put the link dirextly to my song? and not the site, you guys probably all have high speed, so my link is the HI button Oh, and also, do you guys find that your tunes sond different on the Soundclik listen opposed to before loading it and listening from your phones fresh before anything? You can't link directly to songs from SC unless you pay for the upgraded site. The songs sound different because they're compressed yet again so you can stream them online. If you download them to your hard drive they should be pretty much the way you mixed them.

Hey Echo!
"Ying" sounds like an interesting backing track. Almost a Hawaiian feel to it. Maybe that's the classical guitar sounding a bit like a ukelele. Which effect did you use to get that warble? I like the overall sound that you've created.

I see you have been churning them out this week. That is the best way for me to learn. I listened to your posted songs and your improvement is very noticable. I never got your message if you did try to send one. Since MMM is up now, if you want me to mess with SHA, in case Neil didn't remember, I can throw in a vocal and guitar track to what you already have; just for some fun. Good work. Keep churning the songs. Like Matt said, it has taken me over a year to see any improvement, but maybe there is some. Stan

I don't know if you folks know of this Canadian;Gordon Lightfoot?, but I have become a fan and put a song up called "Rainy Day People".
and another which is really cool to listen to and maybe haunting; is, "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald". neat song. (new lightfoot fan!)
any input to my song is good. ;D

Jamie,
Good job on Rainy Day People. Your voice does very well in the lower registers - sounds just like Gordon!
I'm still waiting for The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald!
