I'm actually starting to pull away from doing covers and writing song again.
Man!! no time left for me, on my way to tedious things...I've found myself some bucks, distance phones are calling me, do, date 'n date n' date....No time for a summer friend, no time to record again, guitars have changed, but need not I, yes I often wonder why???
Anyway, I wrote a song last week and set it on the self till today, but decided to finish it.

This chugs along at a nice pace, with the music quite a bit more jaunty than you would expect from the seriousness of the lyrics. The only thing I'd change in the mix would be to bring the backing (drums & bass) up a bit more.

Thanks Mike for listening and your comments. Always appreciated.
Now I'll have to go back and remember what the song sounded like. Maybe change the music so that it will better fit the lyrics.
Thanks, Stan

Well if you do that, keep this backing as well and write new lyrics for it. Then it's hey presto, two songs instead of one.
