I was messing around tonnight for a couple of hours recording Landslide, on the Rumors Fleetwood Mac album. First time I've tried a woman's song, but I know there has been a Carol King song posted here.
I pumped in a bunch of reverb and put it on the "Stan's Band" link.

I think the main rhythm guitar is just dandy. Vocal sounds good, but it's mixed pretty far back. The guitar really covers it in places. I wasn't all that keen on the 2nd guitar here and there. Maybe I just didn't care for the tone or something. Rob'll probably love it. ;D

I put the "Heaven" effect on the Strat (first guitar) but don't remember what I did on the second using the LP. Have to admit the LP was a one-take and then a quick mix. Just something to do after watching all my teams loose this weekend. Something to file back in the archives somewhere. Hey Matt, you must be still doing your originals. Never see you do covers anymore. Probably a good thing. I guess your next one is going to be worth the wait. ;D Good hearing from you guys. Stan

Smashing Pumpkins did a really emotional version of this one. I'd like to hear someone take on a Kate Bush song.
