I put a couple of songs on "Stan's Band" page. One is an alternative Christmas song. O-Come-Emanual and
What Ever Happened To You? which is mainly about my sister and other friends that I use to be so close to.

"Emanual" smells like Nirvana to me; I think I like the deliciously out of tune guitar in the intro.
"Whatever Happened to You" is obviously the superior song. A tighter feel all around (reminding me in the intro of "Sympathy for the Devil"), and harrowing lyrics that strike home because they're real. I like the ending too! This would be worth working out the rough edges in the vocal and guitar parts. Every now and then you pull out a real keeper, Stan. This is one of them.

Thanks for your encouragement Mike.
On Emanual, I started with the power chord sequence: E5, D5, C#5.
The C#5 is the chord that sends you out to an incorrectly-correct place. At least that is my musical layman's term for: "I really don't know for sure." I like the "not-quite-right notes" that bring that jumbley effect into a song. Since I am not a clean polished player this really appeals to me, and also provides some uniqueness (whether that is good or bad)
The song that was inspired by the relationship with my sister is definitely something I will find time to redo in the future.
Thanks for your advise Mike. Always sincerely respected & appreciated.
