"Cross The Border" Don't know why this was such a difficult song for me. The lyrics and music came easily enough, but I did 5 guitar takes ending up with two on tracks 1 & 2. I redid the vocals about 5 times also. Anyway this is what I ended up with after 2 days work. Danny www.soundclick.com/dannysteven

Only 5 takes each? I wish I could get away with that. I never noticed before how close your style is to Sahib's. Anyway, the vocals could be up a tad more in the mix, or maybe some brighter EQ to bring up the high end. Otherwise a nice tight structure all the way through.

I like the feel of this song and the lyrics. Something a lot of us can relate to these days; not only in the U.S. but in parts of Europe as well.
