Was at work until 3:30 this morning trying to get something done, so needless to say I didn't come in this morning. After a few hours of sleep I got up and picked up my guitar that I haven't touched in a week. Just messing around with the recorder I mixed a few quick tracks.
The Fusion 2 effect is one of my favorites to get carried away with, but it really doesn't do much for song structure except to mess with it.
Soo.. an other experimental insturmental... Midnight Drive.

Interesting experiment there Stan. I like the Fusion 2 effect as well - that's the one I used on "Along The Way" (and I love the look on people's faces when I tell them that was played on an Ovation ). Critique - I'd have liked what you did with the Fusion 2 to be front and center, instead of panned hard right as it was. A nice contrast to the clean line on the left, but it should have been more prominent, I think. Cool sound!

As with the last experimental track, some of this works, some of it doesn't. But, as also the last time, more works than not. I'm impressed with the dynamic range you're getting, such as the nice prominent bass sound. Hopefully soon you'll be able to distill these experiments into real songs.
