Well gang, I recorded this cover of a great song. Performed it live in church last Sunday. Used the PS5 to play the background track and played the Roland Digital Piano live. Hard to get a perfect recording live (all the tracks at the correct levels) but at least this time it was all digital. The song is "When He Was On The Cross" pages.sbcglobal.net/fbm/PS5/WhenHeWasOnTheCross.mp3Thanks for listening, BiblePiano

Nicely done, BP - vocals are a tad loud, mix wise, but not clipped at all, and very well sung. Considering you did this live, it's well captured, and certainly well performed.

Very nice song and well played. Yeah the vocals are out in front. About the only thing you might be able to do is to either double the tracks if any more are available, or bounce the non-vocal tracks to themselves at a higher volume level.
Great work Collin, Thanks for posting. Stan

Bob and Stan, Thanks a lot for your reviews, glad you enjoyed it. Like I said, it is hard to get the mix right on the first take (live). I'll try to remix it.

Last summer, as you remember, Scott did an excellent job off a mixer board with 4 of us playing. I still haven't figured out how he did it. Definitely knows something that I don't.
Backing off the vocal volume was really the only thing that stood out, otherwise it sounded good to me.
