The hardest thing to come up with in songwriting is a good melody. Here it flows out seemingly effortessly. A nice, concise pop ballad. I can hear a big arrangement in a final version. Give it a better ending when you do it for real (fade, perhaps?). Really nice, Rog. I'm looking forward to what you can do with this. Don't screw it up!

big arrangement?>!>! well we all have our preferences I can picture fingerpicked gtr, maybe a _couple_ swells of synth/strings or cello, acoustic bass, so sweet. (oh wait thsat would be one of my songs then) hahahhahaahah (or at least how id want it ) anyhow... Roger this is sweetsest song, i want to play it no kidding. its funny the most vulnerable writing is the most powerful stuff, you have it. your writing is on par with any populaR music ive ever heard or appreciated

wow . . . thank you so very much. i guess you really should write about what you know. mike, thanks for the kind words, the melody has been in my fingers and head for a while just didn't know what to do with it, then the lyrics came and seemed to fit. i will try not to screw it up i agree, the ending like so many of my sketches is abrupt. and matt, funny, i heard strings too. maybe a mix of both ideas. you can sing it anytime you want, but your wife is my true critic ;D seriously, thank you for the very kind words, truly appreciated. and i like your description as sweet, it is sweet, isn't it?

Roger, Nice heavenly strumming. These lyrics are great! and fit into the song (as Mike said), with ease. Too bad there isn't a slide guitarist around. A nice soothing slide would sound cool between verses somewhere. Guess we can all have our own inputs on this since its just a sketch right now. Really, really, Great stuff, Stan
