Is that an effect, or are you singing that harmony part? As with all your recent spate of demos, nice changes, nice melody. A few surprises in the chorus where I expected the melody to go up and you went down. Not that that's bad or anything. Keep 'em coming.

Roger, To have a vocal harmony on top of just a single ryth guitar section makes this pretty amazing. I think it could really turn into something cool as the mix evolves.

thanks stan and matt . . . . appreciate . . . . now, i just need to actually WORK on these things instead of demoing and then writing something new . . . . i definitely feel that i am developing a "style" (if you can call it that) to my paltry offerings trying to tell some stories instead of just words . . . . i think it is working but who the heck knows. thanks again

Roger,
What you are doing is probably a good way to record a collection of songs. I have written most songs by recording first and then just throwing in some lyrics/vocals that I feel would match the mood of the instruments. This is kind of a backward approach (i think)
Doing it your way, with the vocals in first, the instruments can instinctively get a feel for what they are suppose to paint or convey.

oh yea its working, heck with your talent id say the best thing is to continue to be/write yourself honestly . and i have more opinions where that came from.
