Well thanks to Matt, I decided to do a PS5 recording. I was going to call it "I won't shut up, and maybe I'll play my guitar if I feel like it," but I had to shorten the song's name, so I just called it "Tonado Triad." Go figure. Anyway, it is posted under "Stan's Band." Thanks Matt for the encouragement. Stan

This has a really nice fat sound throughout. Lots of energy, it must have been fun to do. A few places here and there it seems the licks run out of steam, but most of the time the intensity is there. Sounds really good. I'd advise against listening to this while driving!

Yeah, some pretty sloppy lead in parts. I like your advise about not driving while listening... (maybe getting beneath an under-pass with something to hang on to). Have no clue as to what guitar effects I dialed in from the POD. I't been a few days since I recorded this but it is basicly a few powerchords and some lead thrown on top. No, Fender, all Les Paul guitar tracks.
Thanks for listening Mike.
P.S. Since this is labor day, I'm in the process of thinking up a song for fun where I am currently creating a BIAB backing track for the PS5. I've never done this before, but I've already got a name for the song before I've gotten started... think it is going to be called "Dune Cycle" which will hopely have some kind of humor in it.

;) Hey, UK car-reviewing TV series 'Top Gear' had a viewers' poll for best driving song recently: Queen won with 'Don't Stop Me Now'. 'Radar Love' came second. Meat Loaf was banished and '2 4 6 8 Motorway' didn't even get a look-in (anyone seen hansur lately?) ;-) Cheers, David.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever driven far enough to listen to a whole Meat Loaf song ;-)

D.K., Hansur showed up just a few months back, and if I can remember, was playing live with a small group, and writing some new songs.
