Got the music friday and the lyrics saturday, spent the rest of the weekend working it. Drum and bass by boss on 2 tracks and then recorded the guitar and vocal together, one take. This is how ill play it live,...soon! Man I love this ps5! www.aurange.com

thanks rog...yeah i think i might have gone a bit heavy on the vocals though...im going to keep practicing it and while i do i think i shall be refining the melody and the intensity of the vocal...there will definitely be another recording of this soon. I got the drum and bass track safe on the ps5 - though i might rearrange so that the guitar break comes after the 2nd chorus, and then ill just keep practicing the song over and over.

Rob, Your guitar work was very good, and I liked your lead part which brought in a late-Beatles "Georgie" feel to it. Very interesting song with some raw vocal emotion.
I did feel that the vocals were a little hidden on the verses and would have liked it to cut through a little more, but came through well on the rest of the song.
Can't wait to here some more. Stan

Hey Scott, I remember how gracious & hospitable your family was & how you made that day a memorable event for all of us. There is nothing more fun than hooking up some gear with some great people and playing some music.
I still have 2 big amps that hasn't been powered on for 2 -3 years. My playing live days have been over 4 years now so I've susbstitued with writing & recording. The PS5 got me started writing my first song at 50 and it took me a couple of years to get off of recording covers (which were fun) and start writing songs. Without the PS5 and forum help I'd have missed out on such a great hobby.
