Hansur, A big mental-image of the "IceClub" registers soo much nicer during the summer (sitting in the 104-degree Texas shade. ) Man, it is really great hearing from you! So glad you dropped in, and I will make sure to check out your new songs when I get home tonight. Thanks for sharing, Stan

Gentlemen, it is a very great pleasure to me to notice that you are still around here. As I see, you guys have really raised your recording-skills and developed musically to an amazing level. Chapeau!
Me ole coward is still squeezing the PS5 as a drummachine, fx-module, D/A- and mp3-converter but nowadays in combination with Cubase, which offers a lot more comfort and tracks. No GAS regarding other digital equipment - but another nice accoustic guitar would be fine...
Thanx for your comment, Rob. Yes I've been and am still working on developing my significant outstanding guitar-tone. Once you hit that road, there will hardly be a way back, it's an adventure for only the toughest of us. And there is no light at the end of the tunnel: because if you should have found your tone from the amp, then you have to bring it into the recorder, on CD and out of the stereo-system. Multify your efforts with the number of your guitars and ... Aaaarrrghhh!!!
Did you understand the lyrics? Audible and textual? I'm not shure if I found the right terms. As you know, I'm notta native am/english speaker, but I try hard.
Can't wait to read other comments.

Hansur, Great pick-me-up tune with lots of nice riffs flowing throughout...and sit seems to have a live feel to it. Really like your different assortment of instrument- sounds. Stan

Hi Stan,
thanks for listening. There are 3 different guitars in the tune: a fingered accoustic, a clean Telecaster and a slightly crunched Stratocaster. I always try to record the guitars in one take, as a training for playing live, which i do from time to time with a folk-trio.

Great to hear from you, Hansur!
Love the Ice Club song! Wish I could pick like that! Doubling the vocal on the refrain also works very well.

Hi Charlie, thanx for listening. Yeah, business is not going too well, these days, so i have some "quality time" to mess around with the old PS5UG and practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice on the tele (...and feel some GAS, cause i played a G&L ASAT Ash-Tele over a new VOX AC 30 in the store the other day - twangggg!)

Hans, if Mark Knofler ever hears this, you are so going to be sued! A great tune; I'm listening in lo-fi (as usual), and it seems like there's very little low end anywhere. So it sounds a bit like AM radio, but I always say you can't keep a good song down. Well played throughout. Edit: Never mind, I found out my bass speaker is not working. Time to upgrade again!
