Very nice song, GF, and very well sung & played. I like the fact that you keep your music clean and simple. The result is very OK, in my opinion.
So, I see that you have a Boss RC-20XL Looping Station now. Great fun, isn't it !
And useful too, especially for a one woman band, if one does not overdo things.
I have a Digitech JamMan (about the same as a Boss RC-20XL, but with a CF memory card and USB), even if I have no (one man) band. Great if one wants to develop one's own harmony vocals etc...

Thanks Chris...or should I say merci!! :-) Yes, the loop station is tres magnifique! One of the great things about these tools is how much it helps to improve one's musicianship...to really put an honest critical ear to your sound and to hone singing and playing techniques. I'm still overwhelmed by all the details in sound production like "attack" and "cut" and "delay," etc...but it's awfully fun to layer sounds! It's such a creative process! I have some more original songs to record, but I'm quite slow....still learning how the new toys work...and I think I need more wires!! haha!

GF, This was more a personal song this time & I really liked your lyrics, and as Chris mentioned, not a lot of contention with sound complexity or cancellations (like some people I've listened to). These are some really nice mixes you've posted. Keep them coming! Stan

Pretty melody, and well-structured chord sequence to go with it. I'd bring the percussion down a tad and the vocals up a tad more, but I am using headphones, after all. A nice original. Why can't Stan and I write songs like this?

I listened to your posted songs again today and was impressed with EQ-balances on your recorded tracks thus far... even if you haven't gone too far with the stereo spectrum of panning & wide-panning it shows you have tackled some of the more difficult challenges first. P.S. -- I liked what you did with Rob's song and the keyboard/vocal combo was very nice.
