Hi GF, Very pretty piece that flat show your talent. The one thing in the mix that might help is to stereo the piano on both the left and right side, given full transparency of your voice. Mike as a step by step link somewhere that explains in detail how to clone a track just a millisecond or two off from the other, and then hard pan L & R. to give it a simulated stereo recording effect. Anyway, that thought just crossed my mind. Keep up the good work girl! (as in Girl Friday). Stan

Thank you, Stan. Good suggestion on the stereo track cloning. Your suggestions always prompt me into further exploration of the PS5's endless features. I'm really learning my way around this little box thanks to you guys. And to think...it wasn't that long ago that I was SO proud of myself for learning how to arm a track...now I'm cloning and bouncing!! :-)

Well, In your MP3 I couldn't detect your OTHER piano track so scratch the stereo idea....its sounded like the piano was on the left... just maybe experiment a little with the panning balance of the 2 piano tracks. Great sync on the 2 tracks BTW. (thought they were 1) Stan

GF,
Somehow missed this thread when you started it -- guess I was busy working at work for a change.
Nice tune. Your voice sounds great as always The new (?) piano sounds nice as does your playing. Have listened to both the first mix you posted and the one currently on myspace. On both mixes the piano seems a little too loud and maybe a little to shrill -- can't hear the guitar very well on either. But perhaps I am not hearing the latest version. Or it could be the cheap headphones I am using.
Still and all, it is a pleasure to listen to your originals. Keep up the good work.

Good point Tom. I've listened to the guitar track & it's definitely something that shouldn't be hidden. In fact, the vocals and 1st piano track dominate the mix. The fact that I originally caught the 1st track (piano) was panned to the left indicates that it probably belongs in the center with the vocals. The 2nd piano coming in later should probably pan equally from the center with the guitar somewhere.
