I'm starting a new job soon, and will taking on a lot of responsibilities, mainly because it is a small company and requires wearing several hats. Since I took off for a few days on spring break with the family, I finally got around to writing a song while I still have time. So I just finished writing some lyrics tonight. I categoried it as "Country Christian" but it only shares Christianity partly in principles.
It has a real acoustic feel to it, so therefore Country, I guess.

Hi Stan, THAT IS A GREAT TUNE!!!! Absolutely nothing to be fussy about. Very fine and perfectly balanced mix, great musicianship and sensible lyrics. Well done! I love that surprising rhythm change towards the ending.
I wish you good luck with your new job, hope you're better off with commuting, now. When you'll be settled and find enough time for music, than maybe we could have a little collab on a countrytrack in the future.
All the best
Hans

Hansur, Changing jobs at my age can be a scarey thing but it had to be done for my sanity; whatever's left. The double effect of the vocals had to change, plus it was not categoried correctly so I redid the vocal track, and reposted... Here is the new one. www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=221925&songID=3664257The new mix seems to have a better balance to it. Thanks again for your comments. Much appreciated. Stan

Great improvement to an almost perfect song. Don't let them get you on your first day on the new job. The parking spot next to the entrance is yours, sure. But don't halloo till you're out of the wood! Hans

Hansur, I appreciate you listening again. I'm still in the process of leveling out with another vocal track because it is too hot in spots, and thicken the lead which is too thin (with a little tremelo). Going to take some time on this one & actually keep refining until I'm more please with the results. Acoustic guitars remain solid at even-level with no EQ adjustments necessary.

Thanks Roger. How's your 2488 recording coming? Its a great machine which makes everything is this virtual-hobby-world that much more fun. I'd sure like to hear some of what everyone's been up to lately. Take care, Stan
