Great track, Stan, congrats! Take it to soundclick to the alternativ-country-charts and we'll make it a top-ten hit. Nice Randy Newmanish feeling in the vocals, good tempo and a tap-along-groove, fine! For the length of the song, the ending is a bit... well... ahem... weak.

This song is one sarcastic way of saying everybody does it, and usually enjoys it; almost as an addiction. It is the true babel-effect where all tribes & nations can't (or won't) work together in a united effort or purpose. Well that was my philosophy 101 for yesterday anyway.
Hansur, thanks for listening & your complements. Going to try another release soon. Maybe patch up that ending too. Stan

Great song, great vocals. I agree with Hansur : the ending is a bit too abrupt, but oh well..
However, if there is a problem with the song, it's the messy lead guitar part(s). The song would really benefit from a much more clear cut and simple lead guitar part (12-string, maybe ?).
Anyhow, this song 'has something'. There is some talent at work here !
Well done, Stan.

Thanks for listening ChrisR. I used a long delay guitar track under the lead which is not syncing at perfect intervals during the song. I may go back a pull the delay track and add an acoustic guitar or something. Thanks for the advise. Stan

Stan -
The good: Acoustic guitars sound really nice, good panning, production overall is crisp. Everything is upfront and can be heard in the mix. Nice tempo, effective changes, esp. in the chorus.
Not so good: As mentioned, the guitar is just wailing behind the vocal and gets irritating quickly. This song (like many others over the years) deserves a better ending than just running out of steam. You've done a lot of woodshedding on your writing, playing and production skills, but this still seem to crop up. The drum fills in the chorus start okay, but seem to end up either off-time or with too many hits or something.
It reminds me of some of the Stones' country-style stuff (like Dead Flowers, etc.).
