Hey Mike and Company I've got a bunch of new stuff on the 'ole soundclick there... I have a new Power/Pop Rock kinda tune very Weezer-ish. I quite like it... I recorded on the 2488, kick it into logic and Programmed the Drums via EZ Drummer and a lead synth line/sorta paddish at times... Mixed and everything in Logic as well with only the native plugins that it comes with... Up on the site is 2 other instumental - Electronica influenced pieces. LOGIC don in logic, and Pentitence done in Reason... Not my typical thing but thought you guys might be interested... I quite like these... www.soundclick.com/cameronpierceLook forward to hearing what yah think... Thanks, Cameron

Wow Cam! What can I say other than that was amazing! Is there something in the water there in Redwater? or is it the formal music education? An outstanding triplet posting that was! It was the "Red Rover" rock song that especially blew me away... Great creativity & excellent changups throughout. Vocals were great, drums fantastic. I'm more attracted to multi-dimensional vs. simplestic styles, just because it's songs that you want to keep listening to over again! One of my favorites of yours of all time. Stan

Oh my!!!!!!!!! Fabulous work!! All of it! I would like to purchase or download Logic with your permission. I teach dance/ fitness classes, and this song just makes me want to move! I could hardly sit in my chair listening to it at the computer. I'm envisioning all kinds of possibilities with this song. My gals would love this!
Thanks for sharing! I love instrumental music, especially if I can dance to it. If you have any more, feel free to share!!

Cameron,
All very nice work. I don't know what I envy more - your talent or your creativity. You sound so comfortable writing/playing in such wildly different genres.

Red Rover: Nice tight pop. The drums hold everything together very well. Good melody in the chorus. I can hear that structure and chord-wise, it's very similar to a lot of your stuff, not that that's bad. But well played to give it a breath of fresh air. The acappella part is a nice twist to end on.
Logic: I like the sound of the piano, very 60's-art film soundtrack (probably too obscure for you). Structure is good, the mix seems just a little muddy in the upper low end, but it could be me. The arrangement of the backing parts, esp. the strings is very tight and professional.
Penitence: Nice trance piece with the percussion set against the choir. Reminds me slightly of the band Enigma. A bit simple as tunes go, but again, well played, well recorded.
Overall, another group of well constructed songs. When are we going to see a CD of all this stuff, made from the .wav masters instead of .mp3?
