I recorded this one on the PS 5. Blog on my MySpace page gives details. I'm really in my happy place on the PS5. The 2488 is a blast, but, I just love the little blue box. In some ways, it keeps my songs more organic (if I don't bounce :-), and keeps me from getting too big for my breeches and using more than I need. After I've done a song like Following You where the only thing I didn't put in was the kitchen sink, I just LOVE the simplicity of the PS5. As a matter of fact, I was only going to use 3 tracks...guitar, bass, vocal, but I recorded two vocal tracks to choose the one I liked best and accidentally left the fader up while I was listening to the other. I kinda liked the effect, so I kept both and used one for "seasoning." :-)

I've already commented over on myspace but wanted to express again how good this song is. My fav anyway. Got me-self into this one don't you know... gotta be that Irish part I guess. I too agree that in your style of music it seems better to keep it simple; just like the way you'd play it live. There were a couple I'd have like to heard the Nashville drums with. Keep it up... about the time I think you might be peaking; you put out a better one.  |

Real nice intimate sound, agreed this one is perfect the way it is! I love the doubled vocals, very cool, getting to know the tricks aren't you! Really nice presence in the Vox, I can swear your singing right in front me, up close...
Ohh yeah really good pitch on the doubled vocal, that takes a good singer!
