I have to admit I'm not so keen on this. The rhythm tracks seem oddly out of sync, with the drums totally disconnected from what the guitars are doing. The EQ is bunched up in the upper mids making the vocals, guitars and hi-hat all fighting for sonic space. Plus it's safe to say there's a reason this is not one of Bob's better-known tracks.

Ha, yes it's rather repeating with the same sequences over & over. In fact, there are many Dylan songs that I can live without for that very reason. However, the lyrics are pretty incredible.

Well, you know I never listen to the lyrics; I'm focused on the recording & production aspects. Most of the songs I hear, I have no idea what they're about. Funny, considering how much work I put into my own lyrics at times.
