Roger, Excellent lyrics, ryth guitar, and vocals! I love the feel!
I personally think some lead with a bass player might really give it some extra punch. Is this open for a PS5 collab?
Hey, going back to Sound Click to listen again.

Catchy, very catchy. I hear more than a trace of Tom Petty throughout this. There are minor technical things that could be improved upon, but you know that. The feel is good, and that's the most important thing. I like this a lot.

thanks guys . . . yeah mike, more than a few technical difficulties . . . okay, stan, a little guitar would be very helpful, and matt (hope you're feeling better) go for drums . . . i am going to sometime tonight post the guitar trak and a rough vocal on mmm ftp . . . guess i should keep the drum on since that was my metronome . . . and yeak, mike or frank, anyody that wants to do bass . . . once again, thanks, it is rough but i was excited enough to have somebody hear and let me know if there is at least potential for it . . .

roger
oh and matt . . am going to work on "One Week Stand" . . . . stan migh like that one too, particularly since we decided to rock it instead of laying back . . . .

The site was down for a while so I was probably recording something while Matt was. I did a T4 recording but can always redo or put it on T1 of Matt's tracks if you like it. It was mainly a (well I really don't know what it was) guitar track.
Roger, this gives you some open options. Take a listen to both sets if you have time. I can always redo, or Matt can if he wants to. Cool song! Any choice is OK with me.

well one of us should redo. i had to use track 1 for metro and record to track4. since the recorded drum machine was the metro now that track 1 is gone i have nothing to line up with so i have to do the first take to minimize bouncing.. stan i know youre busy weekdays..any possibility of another take?

Matt, No need to redo because the drums sound good, I boosted your drums a bit because the volume was a little low. I redid the guitar track onto T1 which I think fits better anyway.
As soon as I get home this evening I will upload the tracks.
Definitely crying out for bass though, but a bounce is necessary since all 4 tracks are full now.

oh cool!! yea drums are low i have the peculiar problem of having to keep the mix volume low enough while recording (drums) so i can hear the metronome.. since im not so concerned about my amateur drums being out front its not really an issue at this point..
rog you had some trepidation about mixing.. no sweat just make a backup of the pre-bounce before doing anything if you ever wanna change volumes of any istruments you can go back. email me if ya wanna go through it, its not bad (as i recall)
if we can get a bass player im thinking the best scenario is have him overwrite the current roger vocal, then bounce so rog has 2 tracks for singing (less bounce)
if we cant get a bass player i could lay down synth bass and as long as its low in the mix its passable anyhow.. be alot better for real though.. lots, lots.. hint.. lots better

wow guys . . . i just put this song out there 24 hours ago and i already have drums and guitars . . roger i been thinking how we could work together (anybody not us specifically) and get a lot done in a few hours if we made sorta a "recording appointment" where a bunch opf us comitted to a song, a timeframe, and that we'd be buy the pc and ready to add our part.. pretty cool.
