Yea, Mike & Frank have the mixing expertise and could lay a bass line and then bounce before sending. I'm reluctant to bounce other people's songs because my pans/EQs might be a bit different and not the optimal choice. I have a spare bass guitar but am inexperienced. If there is a sticking point, or if Matt doesn't have time for the syth bass then I can be your last resort. Just depends on best timeframe for you. Stan

id just hate to see us get in the same boat as driving home and some others ive worked on where the prebounce files are gone so i cant redo the drums.. ugh.
so it probably doesnt need saying, but just because of my own experiences: please save prebounce whoever does it.

Ok Roger,
It is in your folder under 7mile-2.zip.
I hope you will find that since I had Matt's drums to follow that the mix fits better together. Too much low-end though so a bass is essential.
I am looking forward to how it turns out. Stan

I meant high-end. I hope nobody here has noticed by dyslexia? Stan

Roger/Matt I uploaded a pre-mix w/o bass if you want to listen. I'm sure it can be mixed a bunch of different ways but until bass & vocals, it will be cool to see how it turns out. My wife was listening when I USB'd it off the PS5. What is he saying? But if it is not in C&W format she won't get it anyway. Cool lyrics! Can you supply them when you post. Well it is past my bedtime in a couple of three more hours. Take care, Stan

I'll try to fit it in. Seems easy enough, I've already got some ideas for mixing. Roger, can you PM me the chords? It would make the process go a lot faster.

Mike,
I put a STMIX.mp3 in Rogers folder where I backed Matt's drums with a PS5 pattern: POP beat under Ballads with a 118 tempo. The mix will illustrate. I think it fills Matt's drums in well without interfering.

Roger, Acutally, that was probably a complement. If she understood the words she would have proabably asked what they meant. I like to keep things simple around my house: C&W format. Goin to get gas, goin to play my get-ar... otherwise it is question & answer hour. However, I loved the presentation and passion behind the vocals so hopefully, not too much of a change. Stan

always better check to make sure she is not reading over your shoulder as you type as my wife is apt to do . . . it's somewhat of a hindrance being hard of hearing like me . . . .

7mile.3.zip is in your MMM folder. If you really hate it, we can fix it. Note track 4 is empty for vocal.
